The Permanently Sealed Liquid IR Flow Cell is the go-to choice for IR transmission measurements of liquid samples in flow environments. Sporting a stainless steel chassis, each cell is permanently mounted and sealed, with a fixed, permanent lightpath. The cell is built to be corrosion-resistant and leak-free so that your sample won’t evaporate. Each cell is mounted on a 2” x 3” slide mount, which makes it compatible with all FTIR spectrometers. The flow direction is vertical and fittings are 1/8” compression fittings for connections to flow lines.

Each cell is carefully calibrated before leaving the factory to ensure lightpath precision. The main advantage of a permanently sealed cell over a demountable cell is to ensure repeatability and accuracy, while a demountable cell is better for qualitative measurements.

This cell consists of two IR optical windows with a lead spacer in between to form a completely airtight, chemical-resistant compartment. Luer-Lok filling ports are included so you can easily inject your sample. This cell cannot be taken apart without destroying the cell.

There is an approximately 4-5 week leadtime for all orders as these are made to order.
